The proposal incorporates historic references and design ques used during the historic development of the Mansion House and surrounding gardens. The proposal includes a new lime avenue estate road aligned with Pendle Hill, the sensitive conversion of all barns and out-buildings across the site, and a series of new contemporary elements which together create a forever home for our clients and their family.

The site is a Grade II* Listed Medieval Farm located within the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and part of the Gisburne Park Estate in the Ribble Valley. The site includes an existing farmhouse, and a number barns and agricultural out-buildings. The existing site analysis involved in-depth research into the history of the Gisburne Park estate.
The new dwelling includes 4 bedrooms, a gymnasium, games room, garaging, yoga studio, drawing room, art studio, spa, and guest cottage. The design references the Gisburne Estate, agricultural buildings currently located on the site, and the existing building vernacular of the AONB whilst incorporating a number of contemporary and sustainable design features.
